Volunteers from Barclays at Radbroke Hall joined local charity Knutsford GROW to help clear overgrown gardens for elderly and infirm residents.

Knutsford GROW is a small, vibrant charity which has operated for 25 years. “The support of local companies is vital in helping us deliver our gardening services,” says Chairman, Neil Forbes. “We’re grateful to Barclays and other companies who provide both funds and extra volunteers to ensure that we can continue to operate, helping many frail and disabled people who can’t afford gardeners, keep on top of their gardens.”

GROW volunteers come from all walks of life, some with their own mental and physical health issues. They’re supported with training and they work in a structured and supervised environment. If you’d like to know more about volunteering with GROW, just contact Neil Forbes at Secretary@knutsfordgrow.org.uk
