Knutsford GROW (Garden Regeneration Over Ward) is a charitable organisation involved in gardening and volunteering in the Knutsford area.
Many of our volunteers have learning or physical disabilities, or have experienced mental health problems. All volunteers have the opportunity to make friends, learn new skills, enjoy fresh air and exercise and contribute to their community and environment.
Our beneficiaries, despite failing health and difficult circumstances, are welcoming and generous and become friends we admire and cherish. The relationships and mutual support that exists between volunteers and beneficiaries is at the heart of the Grow ethos.
About Us
Knutsford Grow has two main aims:
- The first is to provide a voluntary gardening service to people living in the area of Knutsford who, by reason of their age, infirmity or disability, are unable to tend their gardens and cannot pay for professional services.
- The second aim is to provide opportunities for volunteers to deliver a community service in a supportive environment with access to training
